The “Quantum Human” is where Art & Philosophy meets Quantum Physics. Here we bring together artists, philosophers, neuroscientists, physicists, psychologists to look at what it means to be a Mensch – a human being.
In 1999 Futurist Ray Kurzweil predicted in his book, “The Age of Spiritual Machines” that by 2029 computers will pass the Turing test and outperform human beings in most tasks with the main argument being that it will be possible for humans to distinguish between machines and a human being. Already today that means for the computer to “Dumb-Down” in many areas where machines have long past human capacities. With a potential rapid journey toward technological singularity (as predicted by Kurzweil to be the year 2045) not only mathematical and technological roots of (quantum) artificial intelligence must be examined, but also philosophical implications.
- When building and shaping the Quantum Economy how do humans change?
- Are humans predictable? And as human beings shape and build society and the economy, can anything be predictable?
